the change in the effects changes the story behind or what is emphasized in the picture, the top one is more dreamlike with the emphasis on the ball itself, I see it as more of an idealist representation. The second one is more reality with shadows and lines moving in to influence the image of the ball. The reflections on the floor draw almost as much attention as the ball itself once you really begin to study the photo. Both are very nice, I guess it all depends on what you as the photographer want to say with the picture. ;)
What to say, about me? I am still in high school and I am enjoying the heck out of it. I love to play sports and I am developing a love for photography.
I really like the top basketball picture because it has more personality and more depth. Good job!
